Gamified Learning Content
We aim to stimulate learners' interest in learning through games in a relaxed and enjoyable classroom environment. WuKong Basic Chinese program combines teaching aids (10%), coursewares (20%), tone and intonation drills (30%), and bodily expressions (40%) to boost learners' intrinsic motivation for learning and thinking while consolidating what they have acquired. During games, we discover the personalities of each learner, which helps support our personalized instruction.

Introduction of Basic Chinese Program
WuKong Basic Chinese, which is designed for non-native Chinese learners aged 4-18 who have very limited or no knowledge of the language, aims to help learners develop their Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Based on WuKong’s leading Chinese learning ecosystem, our programs are benchmarked against HSK1-2 and YCT1-4 syllabuses.
This program involves 6 stages (S1 to S6), and each stage is further subdivided into 4 levels. We arrange 10 classes for each level and adopt a 1-on-1 instruction strategy.

Teaching Approach of Basic Chinese Program
The curriculum design is novel, unique, and with greater consistency based on the main scenario of the "WuKong Building".
At the end of each class, we organize a session to expand learners' knowledge base. Content focuses on world culture and common sense related to the class. We aim to help students build their knowledge base, expand their vocabulary, and broaden their horizons.
Knowledge Expansion
This section aims to use games to help students review what they learned in the previous class, including Pinyin, words and sentence patterns. This aims to help students consolidate what they have acquired and prepare for new knowledge.
Review before Class
Learners will acquire new knowledge in each class, including new characters, vocabulary, sentence patterns and Pinyin. When students learn new sentence patterns, we will simulate a scenario involving watching TV, and provide corresponding pronunciation (natural human voice) to make content easier to remember. During practice classes, role-playing games are used to make course content more compelling, while also helping learners to use what they learn flexibly.
New Knowledge
During the second half of the class, we will review the new characters, words and sentence patterns that were covered in the first half. This aims to help students organize and consolidate the knowledge covered in the class, and make it easier to remember what they have learned. We combine projecting and filming formats along with games to create a more enjoyable and interactive learning environment.
